Dries sheets very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised that my laundry dries quicker than expected. The new heat pump technology dries in the same amount of time as my previous external vented dryer. It dries sheets more quickly.

Superior Dryer

This dryer is greater than 30% more efficient than standard electric (or gas) dryers. It is gentle on the clothes and doesn't take the heated air in your home and vent it directly outside. It cools and dehumidifies your home in the summer (in New England). It takes about 30 minutes longer to dry a load but well worth the tradeoff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good dryer overall. Holds a decent size and has several different options as well as remote start if you download the app to your phone. My only complaints are: there aren't varying levels of heat and its sensor seems to stop the dryer prior to my clothes actually being completely dry.

TRUST ME, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer was purchased to replace an older vented dryer that almost caught fire. 7 months after purchase we are completely happy. The timer for cottons starts at 2:45, however the unit senses and regularly adjusts/reduces dry time. Great to know - the heat is excellent; post cycle, your clothes may feel hot and damp, however remove and shake and you'll notice they are dry. It is very different from and much safer than a heated element dryer, so there IS an adjustment period. After you have been able to play with the dry settings, you will be happy that you have a safer and more efficient dryer!

Disappointing

After owning a Bosche washer and dryer that were old and expecting the same level of quality, I bought a Series 500 set and I regret my decision. The dryer does not dry, gives an DR error code and the troubleshooting and find a service is a nightmare. I would stay away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

over priced and under delivers

Requires a lot of cleaning, which we have done since day 1. It takes a long time to dry clothes and they come out in a tightly wadded up ball, supper wrinkly. We have tried all kinds of setting. My wife HATES the Bosch clothes washer and dryer. If we hadn't spent so much on them we would have already replaced them. To top if all off Bosch quality is what it used to be. I wasn't concern about the poor warranty because it is a Bosch. I should have been. Ours has been leaking for months and it is not even 3 years old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great efficient dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very happy with this dryer. Yes it takes a bit longer than a conventional gas-burning clothes-cooker, but once you're used to it, it's normal. Occasionally it will think clothes (or sheets) are dry, when they're not; in that case we clean the lint trap and run it on a "Quick 40" setting instead of sensor setting and it works. But it's off-the-charts efficient, quiet, and has lots of settings. My only suggestion for Bosch is to gear this more to normal US folks who dry mixed loads--we have to select "Extra Dryness" on the Cotton setting to get what we need, it's not a default.
