I’m very pleased with this pressure washer. It’s simple to use, compact and easy to store, and works like a champ. I especially love the turbo nozzle. It easily blasted off the stubborn algae off our brick home and years of dirt off our paver patio. It’s so satisfying to see the transformation this mighty little machine brings about.

Handy but malfunctioning shortly after purchase

I purchased the Pro 2300 electric pressure washer. On the second use it began to malfunction. The unit will not hold pressure once the trigger is released. It just continues to run. When the trigger is pulled again it is under pressure. To get it to spray at correct pressure the unit has to be turned off and then turned on again while squeezing the trigger. Very inconvenient to have to return to the machine and power off and on for it to have good pressure. Is there a fix? Is this an unloaded valve issue?

Hello JD70,
We are sorry to hear about this issue! Often, this would be caused by a faulty nozzle, or the unit not being bled of excess air in the line. Here is some troubleshooting below! Be sure to try all steps as described. 1) Clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction. 2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. 3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60 PSI. 4) Be sure to try ALL nozzles!

Works great. the soft start is a little sluggish, if you'll be doing a lot of start/stopping, this may not be the best option. But once it's on, it works wonderfully. I bought the 12" Surface cleaner attachment that worked even better than I thought. I'm very happy with this purchase

Works great! I replaced a gas powered unit and this electric unit performs as well and it's very convenient. This is my third Greenworks tool and very happy with all of them.

I am comparing the Greenworks 2300 to a Honda gas 2100 and I am completely satisfied with the performance of the Greenworks 2300 electric. And it is much quieter than gas models with less maintenance.

Great. Just don't loose the manual

Works good enough. Though lets not fool ourselves, that hose is going to Find drive you nuts with how tangled up out gets, I don't care what they say about it.
The reason for the low ranking? Because I can not find the manual anywhere online, and I want to put the tool to bed for winter. Yes, I know I have a manual somewhere, I never throw them out, I just can't find it right now. Why not have a manual link on every page with a product or under support like almost everyone else?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delayed Full PSI Capacity - Fair Price

I purchased this a month ago and my first test was washing my backyard patio. I only tested the turbo tip and did a fair job on getting rid of Oil/Grease residue from my BBQ. I will try the 15 degree angle to see if it works better. Detergent compartment not needed - was going to use Foam Soap to wash my vehicle, but its better to purchase a seperate Foam Cannon. If this is just for standard cleaning. It works very well. But if you want to use it for auto detailing.. I don't know. Will find out once I start testing my foam cannon.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Effective

Hello Asian Weekend Warrior,
We are glad to hear you are enjoying your Greenworks 2300 PSI Pressure Washer! Each of the spray tips has a different spray pattern. Before starting any cleaning job, determine the best spray tip for the job. The following chart offers some general guidelines to help you choose the best spray tip for your application. 25º – green nozzle: Uses a medium angle of spray for washing sensitive and soft surfaces (deck, fence, aluminum etc.) 40º – white nozzle: largest angle of spray used for cleaning surfaces quickly and for rinsing. Turbo nozzle rotates in a zero to 15-degree spray pattern in a circular motion to break down tough dirt and grime. The spray pattern can cover area of 4 to 8 inches wide, depending on a distance between the tip and the surface being cleaned. When using the pressure washer for the car, it is always best to start with a plain water rinse to remove any loose mud, salt, or bugs. For this, you will want a 25 (green) or 40 (white) degree nozzle. Do not go any lower than that. You will risk damage to the paint with a 0- or 15-degree nozzle. Please test out the spray nozzle before use to choose the right spray for the job. If it ends up that you are having an issue with the Pressure Washer, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS), and we would be happy to assist you further in remedying an issues. Thank you for your feedback.
