Delayed start, not for car washing

Purchased this around December. It has been sitting in my garage for about 5 months before I take it out for a first use. Wish I test it earlier so I could return it in time. I got it mainly for car wash, there’s deal break issue for me due to a few second delay that slowly boost the machine to full power. It’s annoying and problematic when you use it with a foam cannon. Every time you stop the trigger, the delay start will make a mess with foam cannon, which kinda force me to do the foaming process in one shot. It’s just annoying and bothersome to me. Maybe not a big deal for others.

Easy set up, breakdown and storage. Good pressure for not having to deal with gas and oil. Does everything I need it to do.

So far, so good. Upgraded from a 1600 model.

We were super happy with our 1600 model, but over the winter I wasn't careful enough to drain all the water out and the block cracked due to there being a bit of water freezing inside of it. So this summer we decided to look for a new model. The smaller one was great but fell over all the time, bonus was it was small so took up a small footprint in our tiny shed. Researched the heck out of brushless electric power washers mainly due to the ease of use, quietness and longevity of the motor and seals as the unit shuts itself off when the trigger is released. This model is doing well for us so far. We are on well water, so pressure fluctuates. Initially when I tried it, I didn't read the manual (I know- typical) and didn't prime the unit correctly. It got hot and was revving like it wasn't getting consistent water flow. I thought it was due to being oversized for our water pressure and was going to send it back. My wife used it a week later after following instructions on proper priming, it worked great. It does take longer for the unit to turn on when you pull the trigger...an awkwardly long delay, but whatever. Over all it is a good unit, big and the handle is low for me at 6'1" which makes it a tad awkward to wheel around. Power wise, honestly it seems like our 1600 did just as fine, but it could be our water pressure isn't sufficient for this unit. No issues so far.
