My first anniversary gift to my husband was this exact type of rice cooker in 2000. It is still working perfectly. This new one goes to our new house and the old faithful will stay at our apartment. Zojirushi is amazing.

The rice cooker is not good for brown rice it seems the rice is not fully cooked even though I soaked the rice overnight. And with the white rice there is a side of the cooker that the rice was soggy. Compared with my old Zojirushi Micom 3 don't like my new cooker.😭.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's quite a difference from a Micom to a Conventional rice cooker. Usually when the rice is soggy is due to the amount of water to rice used. If you are cooking other types of rice other than short grain white rice in this rice cooker, some adjustments may be required. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team and they can help you troubleshoot the issue and get you cooking great rice in your NHS rice cooker.
