This is the perfect size for our family of two. If you eat fresh veggies on a daily basis you will love the size of steamer. Rice turns out perfect. I place a dish towel underneath to catch any steam residue but don't find it to be an issue.

It’s a wonderful small easy to use and easy to clean rice cooker. I’ve never had one so have nothing to compare it to , but it does splatter quite a lot out of the small vent hole in the lid and makes a bit of a starchy mess. But other than that it’s wonderful !
