Turbo Tax Business is not user friendly for DEs

Turbo Tax Business does not handle multiple member LLCs well. It will not accept Disregarded Entities (Trusts) as LLC members to file electronically. You have to print Federal and State tax returns and file by mail. Not user friendly.

Process is pretty straight forward and easy to use. I've been using Turbo Tax Advantage Business for a few years now. This year was the easiest and smoothest yet. Only downside is it still does not allow you to import your information from QB Online.

Why can't you have a Mac version. It seems to be the only Turbo Tax product that is PC only. It's been like this for about 10 years. How hard can this be?

Pretty good. As a professional trader, it wasn't clear to me that I could just use the prompts to complete my biz return. It would be really helpful if the prompt sections displayed the forms that they are related to. For example, I couldn't find the prompt section that would automatically complete Form 4797; so I completed it manually. Also, it wasn't clear to me how to get the Form 1120S Continuation Statement for M-2 Line 3, Other Additions. I'm hopeful I didn't need it since I only had 1256 Contracts & Straddles to report this year. However, there may be times when interest income will be entered here as well, and I believe I would need the continuation statement to include multiple entries. Other than these perceived gaps, it went pretty smoothly.

I know I could not file my state tax return on-line. However, I thought Turbo Tax would walk me through the process so I could print off the correct documents and mail them to the state.
