TurboTax Business 2024 still has bugs

The LLC filing option still has a bug on Form 8949. If you have short term transactions reported to the IRS and short term transactions not reported to the IRS on a Form 1099, TurboTax Business 2024 (and 2023) uses the wrong box, C (short term transactions not reported on 1099). Instead, TurboTax Business should generate one Form 8949 with box A (short term transactions reported to the IRS) and another Form 8948 with box B (short term transactions not reported to the IRS).

The process for completing the Federal 1041 and related documents was smooth and intuitive. The process for the New York return (IT-205 and additional forms) was much less smooth and intuitive. The process for the state returns could use improvement.

Turbotax, not perfect, but the best there is.

It was fairly difficult to use. I'm not sure how much of the difficulty was due to it being less polished than the consumer version and how much was my particular tax situation.
