Essential California State Tax Form (FTB 3523 - R&D Credits) not available in Turbo Tax for Business
Very poor self-service help, hard to search for items to go back to in the process
Call-in support was strong, but they cannot make up for poor product features and interface

When it does a review and you need to make a change, it doesn't allow you to change some of the data on the form. and doesn't take you to where you can change that information.

More Difficult This Year

The changes for 2025 were somewhat a little difficult to understand where to input business income received reported on a 1099 that is considered ordinary income. There was no option for a 1099 information to be input. It had to be added under OTHER with just the name of the payor.
