Good workflow but definite issues

Software workflow is relatively thorough but clumsy and repeats certain prompts (like saving/print for records). In addition, some error checks require fixes and little info is provided on how to fix. Most importantly, we could not download/electronically file the California Fiduciary state file. Multiple calls for support on how to download the state file came up seriously empty.

Only one concern, I was not totally clear when to populate a form entry vs. answering a question when the form is presented with the blue line item highlighted.

TurboTax Bad Interface

Really terrible buggy interface that sends you in loops, instructs you to go to menus, and is just extremely unclear to navigate. It identifies things as errors that aren't errors and provides excessively vague explanations of important items. The software makes navigating the process far more nerve wracking than it has to be and doesn't give you a heads up about what is coming next. The support is not bad, but I only needed it because the software is terribly designed and implemented.

Your stupid software doesn't integrate with Mac? Unbelievable. Also - I'm not a CPA - but I also am not an idiot. Your software isn't as easy as it should be.

Extension request filing was confusing

This is my first time with the business version of turbo tax. I filed a trust extension request. Many preliminary forms appeared to be transmitted with the file extension request. Very confusing on why this was necessary and I'm still not certain if the electronic payment amount was correct.

I love Turbo Tax for small business

Painful flow to get the Desktop version

Finding the desktop download version was difficult. After I paid for it, the receipt page had an error. They charged my bank account, but did not show me where to download. After finally finding the download on their site, the download button did not work using Chrome browser. Had to use Edge to download it. After all of the frustration to get the program I wanted, it worked ok. Just wish it wasn't so hard to get the program every year. AND NO I DO NOT WANT THE ONLINE VERSION, I LIKE THE DESKTOP VERSION.
