When I amended a previously e-field tax return the amended file continued to carry and print the instructions for electronic filing rather than the ones for mail in filing in spite of the fact that I repeatedly checked the box indicating I intended to file by mail and the only way I could force it to provide the mail in instructions was to move to the forms mode and specifically search for the correct form. It still would not include the mail in form with my printed copy, nor could I delete that form from the file.
Also, I updated the signature date for the form 1065x and updated the 1065 amended return, but the interview process never prompted me to update the signature date on the 1065. It continued to carry the date for the originally filed return and again I had to go into forms and change the date manually to be consistent with the 1065x form.
Lastly, the amended 1065 return continued to carry the original attached signature form 8453 PE. I was unable to remove or replace it had I wanted to because the program would not allow me to file the amended return electronically and therefore would not reach the point in the program where I was asked to upload the sform 8453 PE.

I have used the on-line personal version for many years. It's disappointing the only on-line options for business returns are really expensive. Our business is tiny and not profitable yet. Your fees are almost our total revenue for the year.
