On my third filing due to errors. Printed docs do not show the signature uploaded. Much confusing stuff that was not needed.

TurboTax is ok but has some anoying glitches

Product is very expensive and seems to have few glitches.
I had to redo the return from scratch because it would not let me Transmit, becasue it was showing some phantom member forms. I spent couple of hours trying to find and remove the but they would come back every time. Once I created all new report I was able to transmit but now it only shows status of Federal report even though state was transmitted at the same time.
Generally a bit dissapointed, it used to work much better.
Not having a Mac version of the software is also and issue. As a Mac user I need to use another computer.

TurboTax not for the faint of heart

i realize our tax code is complicated beyond reason, and TurboTax has and continues to be my only solution, BUT do you know anything about human factors guiding GOOD user interfaces. constantly butting heads with your "let us guide ..." approach which fails to offer options in the TAX Code . ARG. and resorting to opening the form directly making changes causes your 'review' to literally implode!!

Inexcusably sloppy software

way too many glitches. Continues to e an unpolished product. I've done three estates and a trust... and the estates dragged on for a few years. If I didn't have some background, it would have been a disaster.
Things like: if you don't have a K-1 recipient, it doesn't understand. Deleting income sources from previous years is very clumsy as it retains the sources even though they were supposedly deleted.
If an estate has continued for more than two years, there's a checkbox and you're supposed to give an explanation for why it is taking so long to settle. I had to "manually" create the form within the program, and only because I knew it was needed - I had not been prompted by the program.
This is Simple stuff with a Simple estate. My complaints are not specific to current year tax changes. Even the creation of this review is aggravating as some cute AI that's built into the intuit site keeps clipping my words. Amazing. This is THE program for consumers, and is used for a very delicate topic, yet it is so poorly executed... year after year. I've tried one competitor, time for another.

Desktop versions having problems

The refund/owed amount not showing in the final review on top of screen. Not showing at any time on the top of screen. Made sure I was current on updates, still did not show. However, the correct amount did show on the actual 1041 Form.
