Great that 1041 Trust form is with Turbo

Some trouble with % allocation of K-1 Trust forms for CA. TT Rep was able to screen share and we figured out what the glitch was.

Cheaper Than An Accountant, But Comes At A Cost

First year using Turbo Tax Business. Only did it because it was cheaper than hiring an accountant to do it by about 1/3 the cost AND it can generate K-1 documents to distribute to beneficiaries. However, with the amount of time spent, and the non-intuitive nature of the software, I may not turn my nose up at handing the task off to an accountant. Even as I type this review, the text keeps getting jumbled and I'm having to retype certain portions. Can't say I recommend this software. Maybe I'll try TaxAct next year.

Business Edition is Very Weak for Trust returns

The Business Edition of TurboTax is woefully substandard, not even including all the basic features in the Individual editions, or all of the forms needed to complete he return.

loser antiquated interface, no business brokerage import even though it already exists with Form 1040.
Only using bc - not sure why, maybe the import feature.
Maybe next year switch to other platform because they also import .tax files

Turbotax can be improved

I like using Turbotax but I found it very cumbersome this year with not getting a timely email for the 2-step authentication code. I need to add extra phone numbers and email accounts to send this code so it doesn't waste my time.

Fiduciary reporting still needs work

Indiana State return should be available. Ability to upload 1099 statement for details should be an option.

Multi Member LLC's for Mac computers
