Excellent when it works

The tax form I needed wasn't ready on time which was frustrating. The expert help was excellent once we got through a couple of technical issues with screen sharing. I was able to get a good amount of help with ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity on nuanced questions when I didn't want to call and wait. I really wish this was integrated with QuickBooks Online.

Foreign Tax Credit difficulties

I had foreign tax credits on K1s that did not transfer into my 1040. It was VERY difficult to figure out!

had an issue, but the Help Desk got me past it.

had a problem with the K-1's filling in the section L "Partner's Capital Account Analysis" section. Worked with Intuit helpdesk for almost an hour before I got a workaround. The problem in the software was reported, but not resolved before I filed. Fortunately the workaround allowed me to proceed.
Intuit needs to work on passing through ALL required information into the K-1 forms.

Unhappy with purchase options this year

I do not like the new purchase options. Being able to go to a local office supply and purchasing the cd to download was os much easier than the download only option this year. I had to call support to find out where to purchase the key to open the download. The Intuit/Turbo Tax site is not user friendly, even finding a good number to call support is almost impossible to find.
