Such a huge help!!

This was a difficult return for me because it was for my father's estate, plus I'd never dealt with this type of return before. I had to call TurboTax for help several times. I can't say the call process was without frustration, but every person I spoke with was terrific. James (expert tax help) and Chalon were especially wonderful.

Turbotax for estate income taxes need some help

Need to provide more information for those of us filing estate income taxes. Also, I would like to see more features that are specific to Federal employees that are retired. For example, TSP and OPM distributions and payments. The RMD questions don't really apply to TSP distributions. Why should i even have to state why the RMD was not taken if the retiree died before the end of the year?
Also, since Turbotax knows what state I live in, it shouldn't even have the state income tax questions if my state doesn't have an income tax. It looks like AI could make the software a lot smarter and easier to use.

Miss 1099-R Support for Estate Returns

TurboTax Business lacks a proper input for Form 1099-R when preparing an estate 1041 return. This is a common form and not having a dedicated section caused confusion, especially for reporting federal withholding correctly. This should be addressed, as it made an already complex process more difficult than necessary.
