Turbo Tax is terrible.

I have used Turbo Tax for business returns for many years. This has been one of the worst experiences with this program that I've ever had. The program initially mis-calculated the special depreciation allowance by disallowing an asset from the special depreciation deduction that had been carried forward from previous years. This was eventually corrected but the incorrect return had already been e-filed to meet the filing deadline. When amending the return in error, Turbo tax would not allow me to e-file the amended return. This had cost me a tremendous amount of time and aggravation that I had never experienced before. Considering other tax prep options.

TurboTax Not What It Used To Be

I remember when TurboTax asked me questions and helped me make tax decisions. Now it leaves all the decisions up to me and I have to be the tax expert. It isn't the product it used to be.

Wonderful program

I have always used Turbo tax. It is easy to complete and amend taxes as needed

Support is great.
Feature could improve. Unlike the personal Turbo Tax software, the feature to be able to download tax forms received from investment firms using the account number and the document number is not available. That is a real bummer!!!

Very good software, they still push for a State Tax filing which is not required. Very good step by step process.

TERRIBLE -WORSE THAN LAST YEAR

This version is practically useless. It expects you to be an accountant. It makes figure things out for yourself and makes you enter many fields manually in forms instead of guiding you. I had to figure where to figure out in forms where to manually enter 1099R information and tax withholding information. Last years version was better.
