Not as helpful as I'd hoped; poor quality control

I hoped it would be easier than typing into the forms manually. It is marginally easier, but there's not nearly as much support as I expected. There are so many places where I was asked "do you need to attach form XXX?" or "are you going to take this credit?" with minimal context provided. I mean - if I already know what all the forms and credits are and which ones apply to me, why wouldn't I just save the money and fill out the forms by hand? Also - there's an ERROR in the NC state form that causes the returns to fail review every time, and it's not correctable by the user. Based on the online discussions, the error has been there since at least the 2024 version. So happy I paid extra for the state form so that it could fail review every time, making it impossible for me to know if there were actually any legitimate concerns with the final return. Actually, after writing this, I feel like 2 stars might be overly generous. Very disappointing.

Spent hours trying to e-file my Wisconsin 1041. Software kept highlighting an error. Software wanted the Foreign Provence where I lived. I inputed a US address. Tried to override/ignore this entry hundreds of times. Finally went through. No Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Expand categories and better filing instructions

Business deduction categories are not as complete in Home and Business software. This year I had to file an amended return because I forgot to enter 50% of business meal expenses.
The instructions for mailing an amended return were not correct. They continued to be the same as for e-filing the Federal return. On the state return there was not a separate form to send to the state to indicate it was an amended return and again the instructions were the same as for the initial filing.

Form 1120 problems resolved.

There were 3 issues that I encountered this year in filling Form 1120 for the 12th time. First, I could not get past ErrorCheck because it kept requiring K-1 information even though it did not apply. Gerald helped me delete that form and fix the problem. Then, I could not print a preview before filing. I saw many others had this problem; but I followed the Expert's advice and was able to print from a PDF. Finally, I could not e-file because it could not find the files that I had attached even though the location was correct. i had to re-attach those files.

OK but need to update error check for wisconsin

Product is helpful but got hung up on the Wisconsin section as the program kept telling me to enter a foreign country and province even though I am in the USA.
