TurboTax Sucks!

This is the last time I use turbo tax professional for a simple trust. It is stupid! The software cannot determine a calendar year is 01/01/2025 through 12/31/2025. I have to file Federal by mail. Because it has $3 in capital gains it is now a complex trust? I don't think so! It's solution to 199A and QBI requirements is hire a tax professional. Why do I spend $220 plus on a software this ignorant! For Year 2026 I ill just give this very simple trust return to a tax professional, get it completed correctly and spend less money!!! This is why I utilize HandR Block for 5 personal returns I do!!!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE NO STARS. I USED TURBO TAX FOR BUSINESS FOR A C CORP. THE FEREAL RETURN WAS SUBMITTED WITH NO PROBLEM. THE NYS KEEPS TELLING ME THEY NEED ONE MORE THING BUT THEY DO NOT SPECIFICALLY TELL ME WHAT THE ONE THING IS. I KEEP GOING BACK EVERY TIME AND STILL CAN'T FIND WHAT THE THING IS THAT IS MISSING. I'M SO DISGUSTED WITH THE PROGRAM AND WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO SEND IT BY MAIL. CAN YOU FIX THIS PROBLEM

Turbo tax is normally good--just not for trust fil

Use Business to record B trust. Always have to search because forms always end up showing trust owes money when everything has been distributed so should be 0. Something is not transferring and has not done so for several years. This simple tax takes longer than necessary.

TurboTax Business Needs a Little Work

Every year I have the same problems with TurboTax Business. It does not transfer over the correct asset and capital information, and I have fix the Capital Reconciliation worksheet by hand. Once that is done, then Income Reconciliation is out of balance, and I have to fix that balance worksheet by hand.
Also, when I first run the Federal Error Check, I typically get a huge number of errors, almost all of which are questions on forms that were not filled out, because TurboTax did not ask the questions during the Step by Step interview process. Waste's a bunch of time manually entering all this information that should have been automatically entered in by TurboTax Business.

A simple return made complicated by Turbo Tax

Pretty poor product. I'll use one more year. Tried this to save money for a basic trust return. The templates to fill out the return are poorly designed. Also, when you go to e-file it will not give you good guidance of what to correct to complete e-file correctly. Had to print out Federal and State return and mail in. Would not recommend to anyone.

Turbo Tax Business

it is not as easy as it should be. I have used turbo Tax Home and business and it is easier to use than Business program. Your questions are not specific enough and don't cover all areas unless you search and look for it. It took me 3x longer to use this program than the one I have used for years.
