Need some tweaks

Great product. Two improvement suggestions:
I buy and download the product, your website makes it extremely difficult to do this. I had to get a customer service rep on the phone to complete the purchase, and it took her 30 minutes to figure it out too.
Second, when I got to the point that I needed to purchase the state software, the pop-up screen does NOT FIT the presentable screen, that is, the "BUY" and "DOWNLOAD" buttons are not visible as they are off the bottom of the page.

Best bang for buck

TurboTax Business for Desktop was quick and easy to use and great for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on tax return preparation.

Generally works, but missing features

Did not give me the ability to upload and attach 8949 when I summarized transactions. Could not find the form it referenced to elect to carry forward NOL instead of carryback. 1256 Contracts form not part of step-by-step, and I have to manually enter gains/losses in Forms section. Missing brokerage link feature.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Functional, but a tough slog

TT Business is quite different from regular TT offerings. It appears to expect a higher level of professional skill, which may be acceptable to its typical users. However, for a tax neophyte, it is relatively difficult to use. A bit more guidance would be appreciated, particularly because Intuit does not pull its punches when charging for the software and state add-ons. My situation was pretty simple. (And by the way the AI thing that is fiddling with this review text as I write is extremely annoying.)

2025 is worse

2025 got worse. im still not even sure if i filed my state taxes...seems like state and federal are now bundled into the same filing but it is incredibly unclear.
