TurboTax Business Makes You a Pro!

TurboTax Business helped me file my own Business taxes, and I am only a lay person when it come to Tax Laws. For the first time after becoming an S-Corp, I was able to file my return without hiring a tax accountant.

TurboTax does not cover some important transaction

Not good enough experience. There are no options in the Step-by-Step mode and in the Forms mode for distributing real estate rental property from LLC to its members. Also, there are options for continuing depreciation schedule for the property transferred from LLC1 to LLC2 owned by the same members with the same ownership percentage.

TT is a reliable product but needs improvement

I remain disappointed that all Intuit products are not be compatible. You cannot upload information from QBO to TT. Every year, there is at least one product glitch in TT that requires a call or chat with screen sharing to resolve. I usually need to escalate to next level help, because I've been using TT since the 90s and can resolve most basic issues that the average SD person understands too.

Filing trust taxes is horrible

The state forms are miserable and do not populate well from the federal form. I never know what I need to correct and just end up ignoring most of it. Filing these taxes is miserable.

Overall good. Does not explain what you need to do with state filing and should be able to incorporate all aspects of state return without user having to do the guesswork. It should be all automated once information is inputted.

During my Corporate Taxes, Turbo Tax failed to completely imported all my files from 2024.
And there were few errors on the numbers imported over.
Their AI needs to be updated and smarter in handling some processes.
