I made a small mistake on my k-1. I didn't notice unitl after filing. I ammended my forms, but the software wouldn't let me email/send my ammended return.

Has no ability to download investment data 1099-B.

Has no ability to download investment data (1099-B, 1099-DIV ext.) like all the other less expensive Turbo Tax software options. Way over kill for simple or even complex trust.

Love the step by Step directions and the Audit Risk. This year I paid for additional expert help and that was nice. Accuracy is nice too.

Federal vs NYS depreciation

I just filed an "S" corp return. There are several NYS adjustment that are not clearly explained. For example: NYS does not allow SS179 depreciation on certain assets. The disallowed deduction needs to be added to form 225. The difference between the federal depreciation and NYS depreciation can be deducted on the NYS return over 5 years at 20% beginning the following year. I did not see any of this on Turbo Tax Business software. It is possible I missed the directions.

Overall, I like the program as it takes you through all the steps. I have been using Turbo Tax Business now for more than 15 years to file my 1120-S IRS form and schedules.

Turbo Tax Desktop and Quickbooks online

I thought Turbo Tax desktop and Quickbooks were supposed to work together so I could import from QB. I didn't have time to experiment with the options and I already had desktop and it couldn't find my QB account.

No Quickbooks Online integration for Desktop

No means by which to connect my Quickbooks Online information to file on the Turbotax desktop, had to complete the filing information on turbotax online and then transfer manually to desktop. Called customer service, no way to just submit through turbotax online without being double charged. Called multiple times and tried to escalate, "no one had the authority to help me".

cannot print copy of federal return.
