Security is over the top--very hard to use.

logging in 3 times while i am already in the program to do things like buying audit defense and signing up for advantage is a total pain. why can't you have one mfa,rather than three? why do i have to log in again when i a already logged in to buy something more from you. yuk!

TurboTax Desktop for Business Limitations

I prepare taxes for a small LLC that's a rental business. The step-by-step process doesn't seem to work well for this, since the key income and expense data all need to go on to schedule K. So I moved it all over manually.
Also, I have to say, there is no reasonable way to pull the data from Quick Books Online. It's not a big chore, but this has been a problem for years. Finally - there's no version for the Mac - so there's pain moving files back and forth between my main (Mac) and a PC laptop. Between what we pay for QBO and TurboTax desktop, we're going to look for a more affordable solution going forward. (I hate the fact that QBO comes with ADS - really?).
I do find that the "non-business" versions of Turbotax do a good job with my personal taxes.

It all worked in the end!

We changed the computer used in prior year because windows 10 would not work. It was challenging at first because we were not getting emails from TurboTax but luckily the agent and her supervisor were able to direct us to the intuit online account to get the code for the desktop version of the software for business.

Audit Protection is a Rip-Off

I was audited for 2023. Much to my surprise your audit protection only lasts one year. That detail was buried in the fine print and not in the email or purchase screen. Given the IRS response time, one year is virtually useless.
