great product - comments to make it easier

This were some hiccups in understanding what needed to be entered, especially when transfering content from the year before and also getting everything on the balance sheet to match. there should be perhaps multiple places to take you to the distribution page. Some of the windows weres small it was hard to review the information it was asking on the return, perhaps having a expanding window option. Also, make it easier to show a breakout of all the deductions entered on one screen so it makes it easier to compare with accounting incomestatements. Also, i don't quite understand why it charged me $55 to do a fl state return when florida doesn't require a return (hopefully, i will get a credit back)

The other tax programs seem to be even worse

Interface is very clumsy. For example, Help brought up help for personal tax program not business. Program showed error but did not explain why or how it was an error or how to fix. I am astonished about how bad TT is given all the years it has been around. The only positive point is that the other programs I have tried are even worse.

Keep getting directed to buy the wrong product

The problem I have is that I keep getting directed to buy the wrong product. I purchased another Turbotax product first. I need the one for Trust returns, but I keep getting directed to business/personal. Now I have to try to get a refund. Ugh. The product is pretty slick after getting the right one though.

TurboTax is Still Clucky After All These Years

I have been using TurboTax for decades. For as long as you have been at this, your UI is abysmal. For example, when you ask "Do any of these apply?" sometimes you havce checkboxes including "None" and other times you expect the response via a button at the bottom -- and sometimes there are both. Be consistent. Your process for downloading updates is clunky. You ask questions about prior years when you should be getting the answer from my prior year return. When you find an error or mismatch you open a form in a tiny window and expect me to navigate that. When you take me to the Intuit site to buy something you don't use a regular browser window so I can't access my saved passwords. Your AI/auto-correct in this response text box keeps screwing up what I'm typing (dropping keystrokes and making other mistakes).

State Taxes & Year-Over-Year Change Need Improving

Clearer Instructions Regarding State Filing is necessary, and a way to e-file them.
For Businesses, a simple "Has anything changed since last year" button would help increase convenience and reducing time in filing taxes. Eg: If no income and nothing else has changed, click this box.
