State returns are expensive

Epic fail on e-filing form 1041 using TurboTax

I have used TurboTax Premier and TurboTax Business for over 15 years. This year's TurboTax Business for Windows Desktop is a really bad product. It will not allow me to e-file my 1041 tax returns. This issue was first identified on Intuit's community forum on January 31. It is still a problem March 13. I spent 1.5 hours on line with tier 1 support - they had me do all the things I had read about doing on Gemini AI (and had already done). I detached and re-attached form 8453-FE. I uninstalled and re-installed the software. I downloaded the "super patch" update from Intuit's site. Then I had a call back from a supervisor who seemed to know even less than the Tier 1 support. She finally opened a technical ticket. The Tier 1 support suggested I could re-type all my data into the online version (nope!) or file paper returns (nope! The IRS has lost my paper return before). Such a huge disappointment that the software cannot do the number one thing it is supposed to do - allow me to complete and e-file my taxes. Horrible product this year! I hope to hear back "within 24-48 hours" on this issue. Such a disappointment. I do not recooment this product

I've used Turbo Tax for 30+ years. I'm comfortable with the entire program...business and personal.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Online Version not what it's cracked up to be

I first tried the Turbotax Business online.....got thru all of my taxes, got ready to pay; then was only presented with th Turbotax Business with Expert Advise 2025 version, for $359.....I didn't use or need any expert advise; but was told only the Desktop version gives the option of NO expert advice....and the tax worksheets I had filled out wouldn't transfer over desktop! So I had to purchase the desktop version, download on my computer, then REDO entire tax entries.....
Pros: I bought or sold investments

My Struggle Was Real

I had trouble printing the 8453-Corp form. It was quite frustrating because I lost all my work and had to enter everything again. It would not accept the tax documents I had on my computer from last year's turbo tax because of the "file type." It was a PDF, so I don't know why that was an issue. Otherwise, I like turbo tax because it's simple to get through

Poor UI on Payment

Wasn't able to enter my desired payment information because you couldn't select the correct month, since the UI cut off after 10.. bad turbotax UI testing
