Minor Fix Needed

Before e-filing 1120-S it required me to complete the state return which was not required to be filed. After this was completed, it still came up as needing to be filed. I just indicated it will be filed later, so really wasn't a problem other than trying to figure out why it was doing that. Made it a little confusing.

Glitchy

2025 Business Desktop version was glitchy. First, I could not file electronically. I repeatedly got Error Code 54 - need to update software. I manually updated, uninstalled and reinstalled the software 3 times, but continue to get the error message when I tried to e-file. Second, the software would change the "exemption" amount for a complex trust between $100 and $300 without my input. I had to constantly check the amount before I printed forms for filing.

Intuit is going DOWNHILL on its software.

Does not handle R&D tax credit at all. Does not import from Quickbooks Pro 2023. Intuit is going DOWNHILL on its software. Getting expensive as well. We are considering moving to other tax software in the future.

Turbotax Oklahoma state product is not correct

Software is not correct. It told me to pay state business taxes for the past 3 years which I did but the state returned the money. I want a refund of my turbotax purchase.

Got it done

Our return was a little more complicated this year due to a sale of our business assets. I ended up having to manually input some information into the forms because Turbo Tax did not transfer numbers across the return. A few glitches here and there but I figured it out.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbotax is a good product

Turbotax is a good product except for the extra step for authentication. I do not like having to check for bike lanes or hydrants or anything else you can come up with.
