Problems with TT Business

TT Business said I needed to complete a form 1045 but when I searched forms for a 1045 it said there was no form 1045.
TT Business said I needed an update to e-file yet when i tried to update the update started but would never complete. I had to manually download update from TT site and install. Bad QC and testing.
Also very expensive!

NJ Efile lockout

I filed my 2025 IRS return by mail but now turbotax business fails to allow efiling the NJ return although it is smart enough to know nj will not accept mail. Does not seem to be a way to fix this. if not fixed soon must use another program to file nj. Your software should add a way to allow user to input the irs file was done, and let nj efile proceed

I will not be able to e file the MA tax return, but it was required to be e filed. If there is any information missing, Turbo Tax should indicate the missing information. I really think the software need to be updated.
I did e file them in prior years many times and never had any problems.

Turbo Tax is Excellent With Two Exceptions

Overall, Turbo Tax is an excellent tax preparation program, which my wife and I have been using for years. We only have a couple issues with the software.
First, it is frustrating to no have al the state forms available through Turbo Tax. New Mexico forms must be completed off-line, often manually. We don't know whether that is a state issue, or a Turbo Tax issue, but in the 21st century, all state forms should be available now.
Second, for estates and trusts, Turbo Tax does not generate a complete K1 pdf package, leaving off the pass-through statements referenced by the K1 generation. Those pass-through statements ARE generated for the entire tax package which is submitted to the IRS, but missing from the individual K1 packages for the beneficiaries which Turbo Tax claims to generate when the preparer selects the pdf option. We had to manually create a complete pdf package for each beneficiary by printing the Turbo Tax generated K1, then going to the Federal tax package Turbo Tax generates, and running a copy of each beneficiary's cover letter, then creating a complete pdf by scanning the full K1 package with the cover letter for each beneficiary. For us, that was 10 K1 packages we had t build manually.
