First time filing a partnership return — calming

This was my first time preparing and filing a partnership tax return (Form 1065), and I was honestly nervous about making mistakes. The process can seem intimidating, especially when dealing with business income, K-1s, and state filings. TurboTax made the experience much easier than I expected.
The layout is very intuitive and the step-by-step guidance helps you move through the return logically without feeling overwhelmed. Each section explains what information is needed and why, which helped me understand the process instead of just filling in boxes.
What I appreciated most was how the software checks entries along the way and flags anything that might need attention. That gave me confidence that I wasn’t missing something important. The navigation is clear, the instructions are easy to follow, and the system keeps everything organized.
For someone doing this for the first time, TurboTax turned what could have been a stressful process into something manageable and even educational. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a structured, user-friendly way to prepare their taxes.

turbo tax business for 1041's needs to be improved

I use turbo tax business for my 1041 trust returns. 2 huge problems.
- need to use PC instead of my apple computer.
- unlike turbo tax personal 1040 - i cannot connect to my brokerage and download transactions.
Need to put in manually is terrible. why can't you add this feature?

I tried to work on online version; I had difficulty uploading the prior year. Spoke with help desk. They wanted me to create a new account and upload.

Crippled software

his will be the very last year I have used your Tax software and note I have used TurboTax since its inception! For a while I did business to business sales and highly recommended your software and for over 30 years I have been involved with supporting IT for small businesses. I will no longer use or recommend your software after you crippled the software to not install on Windows 10 EVEN though Microsoft allows for additional support for Windows 10. How much did Microsoft pay to cripple your software for Windows 10?
