Close to what I expected

I have been using Turbo Tax for years with my personal taxes. Business Turbo Tax was not as informative or intuitive as what I'm used to using. I pretty much needed to know what it was talking about and what I was doing to even use it. Not for people with low IQ's that's for sure (mine was just high enough). Overall though 4/5.

Too many years with persistent program issue.

Still frustrating after so many years to have the error check complete stating no errors found, only to have the program find more supposed errors when attempting to e-file the returns.

Turbo Tax has no import help for Business version

This is my worst experience with TurboTax ever. My sister passed away so I had to liquidate all holdings in her trust and the 1099-B, with interest, dividends and capital gains/losses was not able to be imported from Schwab account into Turbotax requiring me to spend hours, after receiving my information from Schwab at end of February, manually entering all info. But strangely I got an email from Intuit telling me my forms from Schwab were ready to download and Import but it wanted to put them in my personal income taxes. I have never entered Schwab information into my personal taxes, only in Trust taxes.

Turbotax Business Desktop

I used the online business version for 2024 for the first time and didn't realize it wouldn't be compatible with the 2025 desktop version that I bought this year so I had to start from scratch with entering info. There was no way to save the 2024 data file from the online version for import so I started the 2025 return online to import 2024 data and then saved that file to my computer but it wouldn't open in the desktop version which was frustrating. Lots of mystery errors just like last year. If I answer the all the questions asked, there is no reason for errors and then the errors have no explanations and won't let you change the entry anyway so what is the point. Like, why is it asking me to enter the business name on review??? I also had to print out a form, sign, and scan it to e-file which was ridiculous that there was no option for an electronic signature with the desktop version. All resources must be directed to the online version.

Going to hire an accountant next year, not TurboTx

Not as helpful as it needs to be. Very minimal guidance filling out New Mexico taxes, basically just opened the forms for you to fill out, the checked it but not great at leading the user to the corrections. Fought my input mostly.
