A good experience

This was a much improved experience filing an 1120-s than it has been in the past. The user interface is clear as to what you are entering and the detail hints are very good to classify income and expenses. Filing and checking the return for completion and accuracy was very simple as well.

Misleading NY Filing Fee Handling

TurboTax Business is not very user-friendly, especially for first-time filers. Many steps are confusing and not clearly explained, and when errors appear, they are difficult to correct without clear, step-by-step guidance. For example, the New York IT-204-LL $25 filing fee was not clearly distinguished from income tax, and the software stated that no payment was required without clearly indicating whether the fee had been scheduled or needed to be paid separately. This lack of clarity makes the filing process unnecessarily stressful.

TurboTax Business is Perfect (Estate/Trust) return

This product makes doing the tax return (941) for either estate or trust accounts. There are explanations for various boxes that help you to choose the correct answer, including comments that something is not common.
I am fortunate to have found this product, rather than paying a CPA to do these simple returns.

Remind users to manually file state taxes at end

My business taxes went well, although it was unclear about the process when a state doesn't accept e-file (Colorado). TurboTax leads you through e-filing the federal taxes, and then says you are done. You need to go back and manually print the state taxes despite the app saying you are done... it's a little confusing.

not all information transferred from Quick Books to Turbo tax. Turbo tax account items did not transfer back to Quick Books. Always a pain to adjust for rounding errors

TT works great

I used TT Business and saved a PDF copy of my tax return. I discovered that when I opened the PDF in the Edge browser it would not display Form 1120 even though all other pages were displayed. It worked ok in Chrome or my PDF viewer, but not Edge (just Form 1120). Cleared browser cache and still same problem viewing Form 1120. Strange. Still a great product!
