turbo tax wont download my state

the program would not download my state. tried on 5 or six occasions and it would not let me select california and instead decided i really meant washington. i gave up and filed my 1040sr but had to manually input the ca. info into another program. this same thing happened last year on the business program for a 1041 return. needless to say, unless you can convince me you have fixed the problem or at least give a phone number to call and help fix or tell me how to, i am done with turbo tax.

TurboTax for Business is a Poor Product

Many questions were vague and not clear, some were poorly written with no guidance. TurboTax did not fully complete the California 541 schedule, making it difficult to fill in the missing information on the actual form with no guidance. I resorted to using Chat GPT to help answer the TurboTax questions. I can't believe I paid $200 for the software. Unbelievable experience.

Overall pretty good

Overall, I like the product. However, I had one partnership with an ownership change and the K-1 would nto correctly show the exiting owner with zero percent ownership at year end. So it showed the one remaining partner correctly with 100% but the old owner still showed at 50% ending ownership. I did correctly enter his ending ownership at 0% after the sale and the worksheet shows that, it just didn't transfer to the K-1.

Unmerchantable -- Never again

This is the worst application I have ever used, and I started with MS-DOS.... In preparing Form 1065, you cannot enter a name for a non-individual member, there is no field for that. You can only enter an entity name during error check. It generated blank K-1s -- just a file name, no content. In preparing a Form 1041, it arbitrarily treated the sale of a security held >18 months as a " wash sale" and doubled the reported gain. These were not errors on my part; this is completely incompetently programmed software. Never again.
