Virginia state problem

Everything was fine until I started doing the Virginia State tax input. Took me longer to correct faulty information on state worksheets regarding in state vs. non resident owner. Explanation of why it could not be filed electronically was very poor and overrides led to more errors being recognized. It was a real mess. Had same problem last year for 2024.

Extra Support Help was Available when Needed.

Good experience with Support while reporting an apparent problems in Turbo Tax Business software program. Also had problems accessing the Michigan Fiduciary Add On from my desktop application.

Balance Sheets

The Balance Sheet is always the hardest section to complete. Seems I enter all information correctly in every section and the balance sheet is off every year. Only way to fix is to override and move on. I believe Tennessee requires the forms.

Turbo tax makes things better

TurboTax is ok

Sometimes TurboTax seems to go around in circles and I'm not sure what they are asking for. For instance, the prompt to add a "state issued pin" at the last minute before being able to file. I spent over 30 minutes on hold with the State of Virginia only to be told that Virginia does not issue pins.
