ease of use. I worked with 2024 and r was able to reuse the last year file (for Names/EIN# and so on).
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Business - Partnership Changes

There are partnership changes that cannot be handled through individual forms but must be handled via the Step-by-Step but the instructions don't tell you that. If it weren't for the TurboTax community, I'd still be looking for my answer.

Trust Tax Return and Schedule K-1

Purchased Business to complete a trust return. Had a little trouble figuring out where to record the principal distribution (having descriptions for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 would have helped me out). Also, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if I needed a Sch J based on the Error Check recommendation. The trust did not meet the requirements for a Sch J so surprised it told me I 'might' need one. Other than that, I'm glad I purchased TurboTax. I would not have been able to do this manually.
