Turbo Tax Trust 1041 has glitches

I have been preparing a small family trust for the last several years, the number of beneficiaries is around 25 with some falling off and new additions. EVERY single year i battle with the TURBO TAX program dropping beneficiaries for no reason and if i add them back it drops somebody else. I also can't get the program to delete a beneficiary whose SS# was incorrect several years back. one should be a very simple Trust return takes HOURS and HOURS to re-enter information and then go back and recheck that the distribution percentages are correct and names, addresses and SS# are still correct.

Neglect for customers needs

Turbo Tax refuses to meet the needs of all citizens in the US. They continue to fall short in providing State filing for all 50 states, in my case Idaho. They also fail to import 1099 from self directed investment brokerages. They do both of these for individuals, but neglect business. I consider this lazy and negligent care for their customers. If they are not going to offer a state billing for a customer, then they should discount the software since a state is part of their advertised software. By not receiving a state funding, I am not getting the full product that I am paying for when I purchase their product.

Turbo Tax Business software

Product was very helpful in preparing the taxes but was a bit buggy and seemed to have issues especially when it did error checking. It was a bit difficult at times to fix the problems.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

There are no k1s attached to the distributions. We had to wait for certain depreciation reports to be completed. Still waiting for asset depreciation on our land rental in home and business

TurboTax is easy and did the job perfectly !

Utilized turbo tax business for first time for LLC filling. It was straight forward and simple. I did Federal and bought State as well. I used chatgpt Go version to clear some doubts for question as some Q will be tricky and their language is not easily understandable. One particular thing about I didn't like was the way Turbo tax s/w was forcing to take some deduction as a my LLC was eligible due to first year. When asked same Q to chatgpt and other gpts it was not a good idea and rather take regular deduction which will spread into 5 years.

Very good program but ...

The program gets the job done for sure; however, there are several areas that are simply NOT intuitive if you are not a CPA. I imagine many businesses preparing their own taxes are not CPA's so there's that.
