I've been using TurboTax since 1989. This was a very disappointing experience. Federal tax and filing was fine. Thank you for that. Nebraska taxes went smoothly, but could not be filed online. Montana state taxes weren't even available. I had to do Montana manually, which took longer than everything else combined. I realize these are smaller states whan California, but this is pathetic. I guess it doesn't make sense for you to invest in a cash-cow brand. Well, I guess it's time for me to stop investing in you as well. Thank you for 35 years of wonderful service.

Turbo Tax Business Glitchy

Turbo Tax business is kind of glitchy, when you adjust data sometimes it wont update, keeps pestering me for signature date. If you were to compare it to Turbo Tax Home its like 75% as good.

Problems....again.

We have used Turbotax business for years. It's always frustrating that it's not web based. I use Linux primarily and have to change to Windows computer to install the software. WHY does business edition have to be a windows only download??
Also, the state filing drove me crazy. It stuck on Wisconsin Form 3 with our business name highlighted with no explanation. After a few hours of trying, finally found that the start page info had the name in Upper and Lower case. In the Form 3 it showed up as ALL CAPS. Changing to all caps on the intro page fixed it and it eFiled.
Also, I had to change a large photo of the signed form 8453-PE to a smaller .jpg. Can't use a high res version directly from my camera. Reducing size made it send without the "internet problem" message.
WHY is there no clear message about the size of the file?
Very disappointed with Turbotax Business edition. May try something else next year.

Turbo Tax Needs to Streamline the Program

Frustrating program. If you go back to a previous section, it does not save the information already input. The layout of the expense input is archaic. One should not have to flip back and forth between the pre-named categories and additional categories the preparer is adding. Big improvements needed to keep me as a customer.

It was once a good thing

This is the first year I've been unable to use my normal laptop with TurboTax that has my prior years filings. Apparently a 7 year old laptop is now obsolete with TurboTax. Also, the price went up 50% for one of the two programs I normally purchase. I'm afraid TurboTax has outpriced itself from the common man's budget or small business owners.
