easier to use this year than last year. the help menu/pop ups are still clunky. i used another source to try to get answers.

I was able to successfully complete and e-file my business federal return, but I had to manually go to the state website and transfer every line to the state return form because your system would not allow me to purchase and download the state return. I would have likely put 4 stars if that functioned properly. 5 stars is reserved for companies that don't incessantly lobby politicians to keep taxes difficult so we have to buy their product or suffer.

Poor state support in allocation of income between states has resulted in years of overpayment and need for amendment. Nonresidents have income exclusion rights available in certain circumstances! Fell short when it comes to subtracting state income generated in other states and generating State K-1,
Failure to provide form 7217 is glaring error.
State of Maryland Forms are not available on State return but are on Federal side, resulting in inability to efile if a trust K-1 is involved ..

Turbo Tax disappointed

There were numerous bugs in the software this year that I have not seen before. Data from prior years did not properly carryforward, the software did not allow certain info to be entered properly. It was quite shocking.

Your software is absolutely horrific. It is full of glitches and is an unintuitive mess to work around. I love quickbooks so I was really disappointed at just how bad the software was as well as the support.. If I didn't have Chat GPT to help me navigate this mess I would have given up and tried something else. I will not be back next year. I would rather fill it out by hand..
