I have been using this since 2015. I have been satisfied with the results each and every year. Taxes are never easy, but Turbo Tax allows me to take my time and stay accurate.

Turbo Tax needs work with S Corp Tax preparation

I have been using TurboTax for years. There were some inconsistencies with the transfer of W2 income for QBI deductions. I was left trying to find answers myself. This was quite time-consuming. There should have been more clarity on the 199A forms and the transmittal of the correct W2 amounts regarding director compensation and employee compensation. You had very little support for me.

TurboTax falls short when amending returns

TT doesn't support electronic filing of amended returns, some of which are required by the State taxing agencies. Very short sighted.

1/ I encountered a bug in the software that no suppor staff was able to help overcome. It was a forced error in the last step before e-file that said I had too many characters in my DCN number. There is no place to edit this or overcome this error and I was forced to submit a mail in return. Not sure that will go well.
2/ I was forced to use turbotax desktop because turbotax online cannot support amendments. major inconvenience. i had to find a PC to use on top of this already archaic problem.
3/ why are there so many different versions of software to download? why not make one that has different options within?
4/ the support staff has a horrific time guiding users through the interfaces and browser flows. its terribly hard to find what you're looking for and the staff has very little understanding of how to navigate the clunky flows too.

Depreciation Method - it will be helpful if 1 question could be added during the Asset/Depreciation screen, "which depreciation method to use". Most of the accountants use S/L method (at lease my accountants in the past) for small items. Without this "Option", one will need to go to the asset worksheet to select it manually.
