Survived My First Partnership Return

I had to take on the daunting task of doing our family partnership taxes for the first time in 20+ years. Prior to that we always used an accountant. However, since our preparer no longer served our area (?) and because our assets had simplified during the span of time I thought I could easily handle it. 100% certain I would have royally messed it up if not for this software and the previous tax return. What I really appreciated is that I could log on to the 'on-line' version to get real time help while completing the return on the program version. Mostly I received great assistance; once or twice it was clear the person on the other side of the chat stopped reading my question mid-way or just didn't know the answer. However, that was the exception and easily remedied by doing it again and getting a different person. One issue was the interface to Audit Defense. Try as I might over a span of a few weeks, it glitched towards the end of the request. Luckily, I Googled it and purchased it directly from them. All the same, I'm glad Turbo Tax mentioned it or I would never have known it existed!

Tedious and frustrating

Was very difficult to navigate through the Partnership percentages section and very difficult to navigate through the Centralized Audit Regime section.
The only way it would allow me to finish the return was if I opted out of the Centralized Audit Regime.

If you have no idea about taxes , Dont use TT

Wouldn't recommend TT as you miss alot of questions or you don't have this form or that form.
Have to stop to look up stuff , just hope I don't miss alot of deductions that I could have taken.

Turbo Tax costs too much and has too many errors

This was not a pleasant experience. The interface has too many hidden costs, and had several glitches (I couldn't enter the "fix" on one of the errors and also my needed State return was not available and I had to contact Intuit.) Support was helpful though!

Indiana Composite Schedule and PEN-1

I got a letter from Indiana Tax department. As the Composite Schedule was not files. I tried to amend the filing for Indiana and the Composite Schedule still does not appear. FIX IT please. The form in the software does not work.
