You make it too hard to just open a prior year's return, and here I am being met with surveys when I just need to see the dang return I already prepared, but no, you are hiding it from me and making me answer stupid survey questions instead

Request for foreign information.

I had an issue when I tried to file the return. The software stated I had to complete the foreign/zip code line. I did not have any foreign beneficiary or other foreign source. I could not file unless I responded to that information request. After considerable amount of time trying to find the source of the problem, I found where in the state information an entry was made on that line. I have no idea how that happened. Once I removed that entry, the software allowed me to e-file the return.

Usually great but very buggy 2024 update process

Normally I give you 5 stars but only 4 this year because of the bug filled update process which I've never experienced with this product before. Starting the program would force me through the update process which usually failed (after taking 5 to 10 minutes). Then I d'loaded the "superpatch" and ran that (which took another 5 minutes) and forced a restart of the program. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. For my last session completing the return, it literally took me an hour to successfully get through the update process and get back to working on my return. Very frustrating! Please fix whatever caused this before you release the next TurboTax for Business in 2025!

Not easy to understand all of the instructions -- for example, where to find the input form for an estate or trust within the business package -- but good product in the end.
