Product is just getting worse and worse each year. Using TurboTax Business, don't have a primary state since it's my first year filing and we have 0 sales; and not required to file in Delaware. However, TurboTrash thinks it knows better and forces me to pick a state. Picked Delaware and chose not to file the State, but TrashTax keeps trying to upsell me for the State. The level of upselling in this app and many other apps is getting truly obnoxious and shameful.

Program Bug but Great/Speedy Call Support

Ran into an issue with Check estate return... Error popped up that the Check Name didnt match - TurboTax had taken the first 4 characters of the Name on the return which was TRUST OF xxxx FBO yyyy and filled in TRUS .... which the program realized was wrong but when searching on help for the field - it returned information on filing which had nothing to do with the check error ... I ended up placing a call and after the first attempt to connect to the help line (I was disconnected), the 2nd call also went through extremely quickly - less than 2 minutes - which I still can't believe on April 15th... It was impressive. The agent who assisted me was able to find what the actual reference was to the field that I needed and said it was the first four digits of the last name on the Estate ... In my case there were two to choose from but at least I knew what I was trying to match

TX Franchise Reporting is horrible.

I had great luck with the Federal Tax for my company. I bought the TX state Franchise module. This is a very simple form. I entered the data correctly and it kept telling me there was incomplete information but never showed where the incomplete information was. I filled everything out completely and kept getting the same incomplete information. I ended up wasting $59 and still had to do the form manually anyway

TurboTax Business for Estate Income Tax Novices

It works similar to the consumer product, which is good. However, for someone who is using the product to file taxes for an estate, it is jargon heavy. I recommend having an AI assistant you can ask questions of. There was one glitch in the process that I noticed. After checking for errors (none!), it gave me a tip to fill out "IRC 172(b)(3), Election to Forego the Carryback Period for Net Operating Loss" so I could carryforward the loss. It says the form is "available in Other Forms You May Need"; however, I could find nothing like that in the software.

TurboTax: Complicated life made A LOT easier !

Just came out of the hospital after a surprise procedure. I had to put together my numbers for our LLC. TurboTax made it easy, fast, with many gates to catch potential errors. Buy it- You'll be glad you did !
