Frustrating

Correcting errors very frustrating, not enough information/details provided, I had to research several things. I paid for the tax guarantee/defender yet when I went to file, it wanted me to pay again, system should know that I had already paid.

eFile sends me around in circles!

Overall TurboTax is great, but there is always a snag somewhere! Often it asks a question that I have no idea how to answer. So, I just fake it.
The real problem is when I try to eFile and it tells me it needs some more info first. A form pops up but there is no indication of which field is incorrect or missing information.

8453-CORP does not populate correctly

So Turbo Tax is nice most of the time. I don't think that form 8453-CORP populates correctly

Even with TurboTax, dozens of hours of research on the 1041 for a trust were necessary. A paid tax preparer would have been more cost/time effective.

1. PLEASE ALLOW IMPORT OF 1099's FROM BROKERAGE FIRMS!!!! It is ridiculous that you charge this price and don't provide import, given that you obviously have the technology
2. Not all forms are provided for data entry (e.g., my return needed a 1099-OID)
3. Not all forms are complete (e.g. the 1099-INT didn't provide gui entry for boxes 13-17
4. Not all info was copied over from last year in my MD state return
