The only game in town

It's the only game in town for do it yourself corporate returns. Very difficult to understand without accounting background. Plus, the integration with Quickbooks is poor. Missing entries and lots of double entries, plus cost of goods sold calculations are different in both programs which throws all the calculations off.

issues with fiduciary return

I usually use Turbo tax business for both the partnership and a trust of which I am the Trustee. The trust program cannot recognize that the Trustee of a grantor trust is not necessarily the grantor and the program does not allow for modifications to the form without causing e-filing issues.

Turbo Tax Nightmare!

I had to prepare the same Form 1120 five times before submitting as it the file continues to be corrupt. The "experts" couldn't figure out how this could have happened.

Turbotax MO 1120s cannot be efiled

This application doesn't include enough information about the forms and what they are for. There are some fields that are required that are not required on the form.
I expected to efile my return - but TurboTax isn't approved by the state of Missouri for s corporation return efiling. One of the very few household name apps that isn't approved. Should not have used TurboTax for my 1120s filing since I couldn't efile.

NO Step-by-Step for Like-kind Exchange (Form 8824)

TT Business Estate & Trust is unable to guide you through (like kind) 1031 exchanges. There is NO Step-by-Step to help a preparer populate Form 8824 (as found in Premier edition).
