Turbo Tax is flawed!

Turbo tax needs to provide more guidance for Estate/Trust Form 1041. I paid for the Business product and expect to have guidance needed to file the taxes

love the program - for most part very easy to navigate
only frustration is that when filling out book to tax recs and balance sheet data the program continually reverts numbers that had been overridden

Seriously, what is going on Turbo Tax? It is 2025.

The product is fine, but it is absolutely unbelievable to me that it is not available for IOS. I had to incur additional expense and inconvenience to use Turbo Tax Business. Even with the additional expense, TT was cheaper than using my accountant for this work, but it is 2025, for Pete's sake. What in the world is Turbo Tax thinking? I am hoping my 1 star gets your attention because I would appreciate an explanation from TT, if for no other reason than it might assuage my frustration. Is there an actual reason this product isn't available in IOS? Is Apple being difficult or unreasonable? If so, please be honest and tell me. Then I can be annoyed with Apple and not TT.

Turbotax Online vs. Desktop

I have used both Turbotax Online to do my deceased mother's personal income tax return (1040) as well as Turbotax Business Desktop to do the estate's income tax return (1041). I found the desktop version more difficult to use with less assistance than the Online product (or it was more difficult to find the information I was searching for).

Turbo tax Business for a Trust (1041 filing)

Relatively an easy 1041 - so went pretty smooth. Had an issue with the Fiduciary Information sheet where the software self-populated a 4 letter control but selected the wrong 4 letters - required call to support to figure out the correct control letters. All good after that.

Very good product. Somewhat expensive.!! The state softeware is not at the same level.
Turbotax should be offering long times customers meaningful discounts

TurboTax need to be revised and updated

Unlike some of the other Software Products on the market, TURBO TAX is not always user friendly. The Search field is no limited and does not address simple questions. For example, if you had a specific question related to a specific form - the response is so generic it does not even apply to the form or your topic. It is easier to use the IRS website - and that is saying a lot.
