TT for Business gets it done!

Income, deductions, etc all have their entry spots. A year to year detail is the Trust name in the Federal form is accepted, but the state (MD) form flags it in review every time ! Is it too long? all caps no good? Turbotax does not tell you what is wrong ! !

TurboTax Business is expensive for simple trusts

I believe TurboTax Business is a good product. It is expensive but required to do a simple trust return. I have to purchase both Turbo Tax Home and Business and TurboTax Business to complete my taxes for the year. Seems like the trust returns should be in a separate much cheaper product than TurboTax Business.
I really like the feature that TurboTax Business imports the information from prior year return. That speeds the process greatly and significantly reduces errors. But it would be nice if it also imported Brokerage data like TT Home and Business.

Not compatible with QB Online - import incorrect

Used it for my 2024 1120-S filing. It's not compatible with online QuickBooks, really Intuit? I explicitly followed their instructions to download the QB desktop application (30-day trial) and the migration tool. After about an hour of working out the kinks, I was able to successfully import data from my online QB account. But in reviewing the file, the P&L and Balance Sheet were way off. Turns out they were missing many transactions and were wildly different from the Online version. I began to try to resolve the differences but quickly realized it was a futile exercise that would've taken me longer than manually entering everything in the program - so that's what I did.
