Overall a Good Experience

My rating is 5 stars even though I had some minor issues as noted below. Taxes are a complex tasks and TurboTax has done a good job in making this task as easy as possible.
Initially I could not get the software to download. I started a chat session and the agent instructed me to clear the cache before downloading. I did so and the product downloaded. Maybe instruct users proactively to do this step to prevent a rocky start. When printing the file for my records, the print job stopped about half way through for no apparent reason. I was able to start the print job from where I left off with no additional issues. When entering information from the 1099-INT Line 10 asks for Market Discount. For my return the answer was zero. However if you enter 0 you'll keep getting an error. I was able to find the solution on the Support page, "If 0 leave the field blank." Maybe indicate that fact on the page in question.

TTAX Is Good, but could be Improved

Just as detailed in last year's review: TTAX Business should facilitate the transfer of data from brokerage account directly into1041 return.
TurboTax Business transmits last year return data & that is why I use it.
Justify the high cost of TTAX Business: improve product by transferring data from brokerage accounts!

reasonably straight forward. The individual form could stand some refinement for entering income. AI had to enter my social security and pension twice as it was not clear there was two place to put recurring income.

TurboTax is easy to use

TurboTax is easy to use for family trust tax filings. However, TurboTax does not provide for importing financial data from investment accounts as it does for personal tax preparation. The price of the software is a bit pricey for just a simple trust filing. It would be of more value if TurboTax could separate the simple trust filing from more complicated business tax filings, and price it accordingly.
