It does the job

It does the job for a trust filing, not as sophisticated as the personal version that can download bank / brokerage statements. But it only run on PC (not on MAC), and also it does not have an online version. And for CA state filing, many fields need to be manually entered without interview.

Turbo-Tax for Business has no running tax tally

The Step-by-Step process does not keep a running tally of the Final Payment due. For that I have to switch to Forms.

Turbo Tax is a useful but flawed tool

Sure beats paper. Leaves quite a bit to the expertise of the user.
Bug: Form 1065 L
Ending Balance (to Schedule L, column c, line 9b) does not transfer correctly. I had to exit and re-enter the program and check and uncheck the Yes box a few times before it transferred.
Also, it takes a bit of searching to learn about and find the box that must be checked for the current year's depreciation to show up on Form 1065 L.

State Software marginally useful

The South Carolina Corporate return software is neither user friendly or highly functional. It is little more than a form that asks ME what forms I need based upon MY knowledge of MY tax situation. It is a glorified spreadsheet, not a fully functional, interactive tax solution on a par with the individual software.
