Very Good product for newbies

I entered the information from the accountant but the balance sheets kept giving incorrect information. It would not update correctly. I closed the program for a couple of weeks and when I came back, the numbers balanced. i did not make further changes. So I thought that was quirky.
Other than than, I could not have done our business taxes by myself without this product. Bravo.

Turbo Tax Business

I ran into some nasty problems on my 1120S return and 100S return. Some of which caused me problems last year. The lady who helped me was very patient and we worked through the issues until we found what was causing the problems. I feel a lot better about the software as a result.

Not that impressed

I was surprised that a 1099-R was not included in the tax interview. Had to just input in the extra box. Also, when I purchased, I thought it stated that State was included but was not. Charging an extra $50 for the state (which was not even a state supported) and going to the IRS site to get the fiduciary state form (which was easy). I was not that impressed with turbo taxes support for Estates and Trusts.

Poor performance on state returns

I'd give it a better review but they don't ask some basic questions for some tax credits and it makes you have to drop to forms. However, the biggest complaint is they make you pay for your state but then for Iowa when you get to the end they say they can't file electronic and you have to do a bunch of work to get a refund. It should be automatic or not have you pay until they know if they can or not.

The app shows a guaranteed payment to partners amount even though there were NO payments made.
And if I need to tell someone at TT they want to charge me additional money for a problem with THEIR APP!!!!!
