Filing the Tax Return for a Trust

First time ever filing taxes for the family Trust.
The IRS instructions are lengthy, complex, and not easy to follow.
Very grateful to Turbo Tax. They were invaluable in guiding me thru the forms and the many additional schedules required. Well done!

Unnecessarily Complicated

It is very complicated, not user friendly, you cannot see your amounts owed as you progress through the return - you have to complete the return first.

TurboTax is disappointing

Turbo Tax this year's version is much less user friendly in my opinion. The comparison last year on the Trust return didn't ask any of the same questions or lead to where to input income etc. I basically had to find that for myself.

Could not do it myself without it!

Got very good advise and help. I have on going problem however with downloading previous years which I have bought. I do not ever see a download feature. This has been a problem for a while. I need to download previous versions as I move to windows 11.

Everything well explained except if an error is found then sometimes the remedy is briefly worded so it is difficult to understand (for a non-tax professional)
