I found easy to use Business TurboTax. Just very expensive for simple Trust 1041 form.

Price increases every year and yet the same import problems from Quickbooks have been there for years, requiring use of the so called smart forms to reconcile.

Just OK. Mine was a fairly simple return, form 1041. Efile process was a mess. I was finally successful on my 5th try. I kept getting Error: 2. The 5th try was successful because I finally went to the community to see who else was having the same problem. In my case the problem was not the size of the 8453-FE file, since it was less than 1 MB in size. Apparently something in the TT software or efile servers only likes PDFs created by TTax. My first tries were with an 8453 file created by Adobe Acrobat. Failed every time I tried to efile. But when I attached a JPG version of my 8453, TTax converted it to PDF and efile was successful. Go figure.

TurboTax is a Breeze

TurboTax is very easy to use and most questions are explained using the Help prompts. My only concern is that it seems every time you use the product there are updates to it. Even in April. So if you file in February how do you know a change has been made that might affect your return??

Initial CT filing rejected due to software issue. Got help with TT expert, did a great job!
Recommendations: Make it easier to reach a person in your help process. Change wording in your Save box from "Save" to "Save Changes." Keep your US, American English speaking help staff. DO NOT GO OFF SHORE. I have submitted detailed suggestions for changes several times over the years, Never received any acknowledgement, No suggestions were accepted as far as I know.

Glad I don't need to use TurboTax Business again

While the system allowed me to do a step by step, it was not very clear as to what and where I needed to enter in things like the 1099-R information on the trust I was working on. Then the state version got into a loop during the review of the state because something was missing yet it was not clear why or what was missing.
