Quite disappointing compared to turbotax online

This product is quite disappointing compared to Turbotax Online, but it still got the job done. I was very frustrated with certain aspects of the program. It wasn't as helpful for me as Turbotax Online for figuring out why the balance sheet wasn't balancing. Then, the federal tax calculations were rounding retained earnings down, and the state tax calculatons were rounding retained earnings up, so it took me a while of playing with the numbers to get them to match.

Year 1 tax return for C-Corp was a breeze!

This was my first year of the C-Corp, The TurboTax portion was very easy! Difficulties/steep learning curve in getting the books set up but once that was done, TurboTax made it a piece of cake!

Terrible program - don't know if there is something better. Does not important investment info from financial institutions. Forms themselves support less than premier does.

TT Business Desktop is NOT like the online version

Love TurboTax Online, but Business Desktop really is buggy and terrible and has for years. Very limited in guidance and assumes too much for a typical TurboTax user. It's not easy to change fields when there are special conditions for a trust warranting it. Please TT, you need to improve on this especially for trusts, since more and more families are turning to trusts to manage their estate, like my family. If this does not get better in the next year, I will sadly, after 27 years using TT, be moving my tax calculations to another company that handles trusts better.

1041 Tax Return Plea

Fairly easy to use, but costly for filing a 1041 tax return. Please consider making a separate product for estate tax reporting, since this was not for a business.
