Turbo Tax is very user friendly

I engaged with Jackelyn, and she was very helpful. Once we figured out what we were doing, we were well on our way to getting things back on track. Once we stopped talking over each other we were fine.
I think my biggest problem is that once it tells you where to find it, it would be most helpful to refer to that form and not a different form. example look at form 1120 line 23, I didn't use form 1120, I used form 1120-H.

Turbo Tax usually Awesome

I've never had such problems with Turbo Tax as I did this year. The individual and business versions needed assistance by Intuit support. After it is all done, the program worked again.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Seems okay but the printed copy to be filed with the IRS is set to about 75% of normal size. I doubt the IRS would find this to be acceptable so I am transposing the return's information by hand onto normal sized forms. I tried printing the returns at least twice with no changes. I don't want to spend hours trying to figure out how to make the print the correct size. Also, no state return is a disappointment. All in all, a bit disappointing and time consuming.

Not worth it for Trust

Very difficult to use, not intuitive and instructions were terrible. I needed to perform my own research to understand what to fill out. What was filled out was not in the correct locations on the tax document and I needed to edit via forms to upload correctly.

Good Product But a Few Hiccups

I've been using TurboTax for my S‑Corp business tax returns and while it does cover the basics, I’ve run into a few issues that made the process more stressful than expected. For example, when trying to amend my 2023 business return, I had to dig deep to figure out which duplicate expense was throwing my numbers off. Then, when I logged into TurboTax Online, there was no clear way to retrieve my old filing—the support said I needed the .tax2023 file, which wasn’t easily accessible, forcing me to jump through hoops just to amend a return.
On top of that, the software started prompting me for Form 7203 information, and the instructions for each line (like what to enter for nondeductible expenses or how to handle my shareholder stock basis) were not as straightforward as I would have liked. Even the state return portion added confusion: I had to decipher whether to check Form 502 or Form 502 PTET for my S‑Corp.
Overall, TurboTax gets the job done for simpler returns, but when you have a complex S‑Corp scenario with amendments, basis calculations, and state return quirks, the experience becomes cumbersome. I wish the interface was more intuitive for business filers and that it provided easier access to prior-year files. If you’re running a straightforward return, it might work well; but if your tax situation is more complex, be prepared for extra legwork.

TurboTax Business Insufficieny

Use this software to process a Form 1041 for a family trust. Majority of the assets are investments (Stocks, bonds, etc). TurboTax Business does not provide the impact tools like the personal tax program. May need to find a better tax sioftware next year.
