Product GREAT but packaging is too expensive

This product is great because it checks everything I would not know to check. HOWEVER I have to enter only 2 lines of income to create the return BUT get to pay for the whole Business product. Further, for those two lines, it needs to print 49 pages if I want to save the return. Surely that much is not filed for state and federal. Ridiculous!! Can Trusts be packaged with some less expensive other product like PREMIUM?? Or maybe online access for easy to file trusts???

Very confusing. No method for answering questions that are obviously a problem with your software.

UNABLE to file an amended 1120-S return. Telephone support says that you can; program won't let me.

TurboTax Business Should Be Available for Mac
on April 3, 2025
Posted by: JC3VC
Every year, many business owners request a version of TurboTax Business that will run on Mac computers. Intuit has chosen to ignore these requests for years. The fact that a Mac version of every other TurboTax product except Business exists makes no sense and it speaks volumes about how out of touch Intuit leadership is with its constituency. Business owners that prefer to use Macs (and there are many) must waste valuable time jumping through a ton of unnecessary hoops to simply launch the program. From personal experience I can tell you that it is extremely frustrating. I strongly suspect that the moment a viable Mac-based alternative is introduced, Intuit will lose quite a few customers. I, for one, would gladly replace TurboTax for both business and personal use because of this oversight. I would imagine that others would do the same. Failing to acknowledge or address such a blind spot is an absolute shame.

Was not very helpful in my humble opinion. The state I needed was not available. The errors that appeared it would not let me fix so I had to mail in anyway. Very frustrating experience all around

Handle 1099-R's for Estate returns
on April 3, 2025
Posted by: MarkPizz
When processing an Estate return, there might be retirement account(s) which specifically mention the Estate as the beneficiary (and not some individuals). This will result in 1099-R(s) being reported in the name of the Estate and thus need to be added to the Income side of the Estate's activities. TurboTax Business currently doesn't handle this case. It should be extended to include this.

You need to allow import of forms such as 1099 DIVs, 1099-B etc. like other versions.
